Zebrinas are a new hybrid that lays lots of blue eggs. We gave them this name because they barred like a zebra, and there are already so many breeds with "barred" in their name.

The 2 top laying breeds we raise are California Greys and Cream Legbars. So what happens when you cross them? A Zebrina is born!
Blue eggs are dominant over white, so we know these will lay blue eggs. The crest on the Cream Legbar is partially dominant, so the Zebrina will have a small crest. As near as we can tell, this is the first intentional hybrid to create a black barred blue egg layer, and we are very excited to offer them to our customers this year.
